CTS College of Business and Computer Science in correlation with the University of Hertfordshire is able to bring you yet another quality programme. The BA Business Administration Programme, otherwise known as the BABA is designed to deliver quality instruction that increases your competency level in the Business Administrative environment.
Here are some frequently asked questions and answers to get you started.
Q: What are the program’s entry requirements?
A: General entrance requirements:
Each application is considered individually, but normally 240 credits from a suitable
qualification are required. Approved pre-requisite qualifications include:
• ABE Advanced Diploma in Business Administration / Business Management
• COSTAATT Associate Degree in a Business or Management related programme
• Edexcel HND in HRM
• Associate Degree or HND in Business or Management related programme
Students who have completed writing all exams leading to one of the above qualifications but
awaiting results may apply for the programme. You will be given a provisional acceptance
pending your final results.
Q: What registration and/or other fees are payable to CTS?
A: CTS Registration Fee for all tertiary education programmes is $200 per semester. Semesters
are March to August and September to February.
Q: What fees are payable to the examining body?
A: The UH fees are GBP 550 for the programme.
Q: What is the proper name of the school and the accrediting body for this degree programme?
A: The name of the school: The University of Hertfordshire. The Accrediting body: The QAA
(Quality Assurance Agency) in the UK and ACTT in Trinidad.
Q: How many modules are required to complete the programme?
A: There are 8 modules (each 15 credit in total), four being offered each semester. Of the 8
modules 7 are compulsory and 1 is optional.
Q: What is the listing of modules students are required to choose from?
A: There are 7 Compulsory Modules each worth 15 credits.
Note: Candidates having substantial or on-going work experience will be required to take
3FBS0450 while those without work experience will be required to take 3FBS0477.
Q: How are the students assessed are there exams, coursework, projects etc?
A: Some modules are assesses by coursework only and some by a
combination of coursework and examination. The table above
gives the relevant % exam and % coursework.
Q: What is the date this programme is scheduled to begin?
A: The programme is schedule to begin in September 2010.
Q: Is there an option to graduate with a Non-Honours Degree?
A: The programme consists of 8 15-credit modules (120 credits in total).
In order to graduate with an Honours degree the student must successfully complete each of
the 8 modules intended. However to graduate with a non-honours degree a student is only required to
complete 4 15-credit modules (= 60 credits in total).
